Dr. Arden Andersen, a candidate for Kansas Governor, is working on improving the state by starting with an austere, yet adequate, state budget to rejuvenate jobs and economic growth, revitalize education, create healthcare security, repair roads and bridges, and improve environmental health. As U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt stated, “The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.”
He is a family and occupational medicine physician, president of his sub-specialty college, Air Force Reserve Colonel, and Chief of Aerospace Medicine. As a gubernatorial candidate, he is working to heal Kansas by finding ways to rejuvenate jobs and economic growth. On top of his medical background, he is also a professional agricultural and farm consultant and trainer. He teaches farmers regarding farm management, soil, and plant nutrition. The author of five books also shares his knowledge as a public speaker.
Throughout his career, Dr. Andersen dedicated his life to healing and improving the conditions of the people around him. As a leader, he is driven to make the best decisions that will prioritize the well-being of the citizens.
Dr. Andersen is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Kansas Osteopathic Association. He served as the Conference Chairman, President of the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine. At present, he holds active medical licenses in Michigan and Kansas.
Some of his honors and awards include board certification in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners, board certification by the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine, and board eligibility in Occupational Medicine. He was also nominated for the Grand Rapids Magazine Medical Hall of Fame in November 2000.
